So it's now officially Spring time, which means that you're probably, like me, ransacking your wardrobe for new pieces you can wear. Somehow everything that you thought was cool last year, suddenly isn't so...
So show season is upon us and there's nothing I love more than popping to a few horse trials here and there, especially the races. I love getting kitted out in my fave tweed jacket and boots and heading straight to the bar for a glass of champers for a day mingling with 'my type of people'.
What to wear.
There's so many options, I never know where to start. That's why I have designed and created two garments that would be perfect for summer country style. Wear together (shown) below or separately to style them with your own look.
The Tweed A-Line Skirt can be worn with a casual shirt, personally I think white or pastel blue would look great, but it really is up to you! Paired with some Dubarrys or boots and you'll be transformed into a walking country style icon.
There are so many ways to wear a tweed skirt, with endless possibilities of occasions you can showcase it at; be it the office, a ladies lunch, or country walk on a warm day! Why not check out our Pinterest board of tweed skirt outfits for some inspiration?!
The White Oxford Shirt has contrasting cuffs which bring a casual country flair to a pretty normal white shirt, which can be worn informally over jeans; ripped or sleek and black! Paired with the country gilet, you'll have a look that would look at home both ringside and in the city. With this style option, you've got the tweed from the gilet, the classiness of the shirt and the casual element with the jeans. Dress up or down with your accessories and you're good to go!
There really are so many options, I personally love the jeans ensemble for Spring-it may be too warm to wear black jeans to a show, but if it's a casual dress code it's perfect!
Pair the two together for a really summery look, for an occasion that's a little bit more formal, and you'll keep cool too due to the quality of the Oxford Shirt!
